- SCREAMER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND KEY COMMANDS

- 1. You must run SETUP.EXE before playing Screamer for the first time.
- 2. Follow the prompts to set up your sound card and key configuration.
- 3. To run the Screamer demo, type SCREAMER and press the <ENTER> key.

- KEY FUNCTION
- --- --------
- F1 full screen in car view
- F2 half screen in car view with dashboard
- F3 3/4 behind and slightly above car view
- F4 same as F3, but further behind
- M toggle map views
- <ESC> exits menus and exits replay
- <SPACEBAR> starts game from "attract mode"

- Default Controls In Setup.exe (These are configurable)
- Gas - Up arrow
- Brake - Down arrow
- Steer Left - Left arrow
- Steer Right - Right arrow

- SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
- 486 DX2/66 with 8Mb RAM
- MS-DOS v5.0 or higher

- NOTE:

- Windows 95 users must reboot to DOS mode.

- If you only have 8Mb RAM you MUST remove SMARTDRV from memory! You can
- make a boot disk if you do not know how to stop SMARTDRV from loading.
- To make a boot disk, put a blank disk in the A: drive and from the DOS
- prompt type:

- FORMAT A: /S
-
- This will completely erase what's on your floppy, but will create a
- boot disk for you. Reboot with the floppy disk IN the A: drive.
